I am a radio astronomer and data scientist, working as a Fixed-term Researcher at INAF-Istituto di Radioastronomia (IRA) in Bologna. I have been a member of IA2 since 2018.
I am heavily involved in the development and maintenance of the Italian radio telescope data archive, alongside supporting external services and projects for which IA2 provides archive-as-a-service resources, such as the ALMA-related ESO CalMS service, the Additional Representative Images for Legacy (ARI-L), and VLBI AGN POLarization data with ALMA (VAPOLA) projects.
I am strongly committed to promoting Open Science practices within the astronomical community. I actively support IVOA initiatives through the VObs.it project and contribute to the development of e-infrastructures for next-generation radio telescopes. Specifically, my work supports the Square Kilometre Array Regional Centre Network (SRCNet), a global e-infrastructure of interoperable data centres aimed at exploiting the SKA telescope and maximizing its scientific return.Alongside my technical role, my scientific research focuses on radio polarimetry and cosmic magnetism (mainly in Active Galactic Nuclei), and cosmology using radio telescopes (radio surveys and extragalactic foregrounds).
